You're bags are packed and the sandwiches are in the cooler. It's time to hit the road...

Rules of the Road:

Clean the windshield. Vision is everything.

Fill'er up. You can't get anywhere on an empty tank.

Kick the tires. Better safe than sorry.

Have a loose ETA. You always want to arrive on time, but not at the cost
of missing out on a great truckstop cheeseburger.

Try the scenic route. There's less traffic and the view is great.

Take turns driving. You can't look around if you're watching the road.

Welcome detours. You never know what you'll find.

Obey the speed limit. Going too fast defeats the purpose.

Bring good music.

Remember...The journey is the destination.
